"I could probably find some room in my schedule for you." As if McCoy wouldn't drop every damn thing in order to make sure that Jim was happy. He knows he hasn't said that out loud, but he's feeling pretty confident of that fact.
He finishes up with the both of them, sighing happily as he presses a peck of a kiss to Jim's neck. "You say the word, Captain, and I'm all yours."
"How very accommodating, doctor," he says with a lilt, smiling in amusement as he watches Bones clean them both up. Once he's done, Jim turns around slowly, careful not to trip up on his own trousers pooled around his knees, and wraps his arms around Bones's shoulders.
"Thought you were all mine already," he comments, tone a near complaint, holding a little tighter to the doctor with just a hint of possessiveness.
"Why, thank you, Jim," he drawls, amused by that compliment even if he knows that it's not all the way sincere in the way it's been said. Yet, does he care? He's not really sure he does, if he's honest.
If they're going to be sticking around like this, though, he wants to get a little more comfortable and he reaches down to tug at Jim's trousers a little, shifting onto the biobed to tug at him, getting Jim to lie on top of him so they can cuddle in. Nobody's around to see, which means his reputation as a fierce, mean doctor isn't about to get broken.
"I mean, I am all yours, Jim, but Captain Kirk still doesn't own me," he taunts, with a smirk, as if no officer could truly own him.
Jim lets Bones tug his trousers up, and once he's minimally decent he crawls onto the biobed, wiggling closer to Bones so they're cuddling against each other. It's really nice, he has to admit, even if the spot is hardly ideal. No one should show up anyway, and besides he did lock the door.
"Oh, is that so," he teases, biting on his own lower lip with a grin. "Then maybe Captain Kirk will have to do something about it. I hear he's very possessive of his crew members. Especially handsome doctors with legendary hands."
McCoy makes some room, but definitely not too much. He wouldn't want Jim thinking that he doesn't want him curled in nice and close, because that'd just be a disappointing thing. He drapes his arm around his waist and pulls him in, leaning in to kiss Jim when he bites his own lower lip like that.
"Well, I mean, if Captain Kirk knows what's good for his crew, then I'd trust him with my life," McCoy says. "I think maybe even other parts, too, though I could use the test run on that."
"Captain Kirk always knows what's best for his crew," he jokes back, humming softly as he brushes a hand up and down Bones's chest, aimless and content. "And all your parts will be in very capable hands, too."
He remembers feeling this lazy and good, but he'd been eighteen at the time and newly engaged. McCoy also knows how that had turned out, but Jim's got that terrible habit of making him feel like history isn't going to repeat itself like that.
Bastard.
"Yeah, must be why I love him so much," he muses, closing his eyes as he lets the warmth of Jim's body settle him in.
Jim beams happily at that, suppressing a happy little sound and instead squeezing his arm tighter around Bones, kissing his cheek and settling his head down against his shoulder, glad to just cuddle for a while.
"I love you too, Bones," he murmurs back, his own eyes closing as he lets them both drift away.
