Relief floods him and every shred of common sense floods away when he hears Jim's voice, sees him in the doorway. He's on his feet, ignoring the dizziness, and closing in on the distance between them to wrap his arms around Jim and hug him as desperately as he damn well can, cupping his cheeks to kiss him because it's been a week and normally he's not this needy, but god, he's missed Jim.
"Where'd you go?" he murmurs, barely taking his lips off Jim. "Wait, I don't care, you're here, you're grown. Shut up and don't let go."
