"You've always mattered to me, Jim," McCoy breathes out, surprised that Jim could think anything otherwise and it scares him, a little, to imagine that Jim might not honestly believe that. "I want to kiss you again too, but hell, I'm scared to mess up the good thing we've got going," he says with a slow, long breath.
